At 32 years old, Thomas decided to found the Maison Eurythmique in order to share new sensory experiences with as many people as possible.
Who am I?
I’m Thomas, 33 years old, I’m from France and I live in Melbourne.
I grew up in the Paris fashion industry. Starting out as a model at 6. This is where my passion for style and the experience surrounding it came from. Style has so much to do with capturing a moment and I think this relates to the heart of the scent.
There is a story behind the scents?
The scent can take you back somewhere in your past, there's a big impact on our memories. You can travel, sometimes very deeply in your own life. For example, When I smell Orange blossom, this takes me back directly to my grandma's place in Brittany when I was 8 when she did crepes for me and my brother. She put every time a little bit of orange blossom oil in the crepe base to give more taste, that was so good! When I create a fragrance, I just want to share with you my own life experience and give you a nice moment, a present moment.

why scent is very important to us?
We have 5 senses including smell, if life gives us a smell, it's for a reason! The scent can have an impact on our memories, behavior, confidence, and mood... There's intricate psychology underpinning scent and I’m looking forward to sharing more about this with you in a future video.

When we are going out to the garden, you can smell different flowers or when you walk on the street and you cross a restaurant, sometimes you smell the food and you want to go in! The scent acts like a trigger and it has a lot of power. Everyone is influenced by scent.
Why did I start to make a Scented candle?
Because for me, a candle is more than just a candle. You create life when you light it! She's alive when you can see the flame, you can hear it and touch it but be careful! And there's a lifetime too…
Candles are unique?
Every fragrance candle is totally unique, made by hand so they are every time different.

I handcrafted each fragrance candle in Melbourne, Australia with great respect and care. You can read more about the process on the know-how page.
Why did I create a candle business?
Because of the soul of the candle and the psychology of scent aligns with my values. I had a different business in France, it was successful but driven by economics and I wanted to choose a business for a different reason... I wanted to contribute to people through their experience of scent because of the impact I have felt through them and the difference they have made to my memories. Today I'm happy, when I put my first step out of my bed, I feel good and positive. My vision is to create a range of perfumes to greater confidence in people so they can express their uniqueness and connect to deeper parts of themselves.
So far I have designed 6 scents and spent 6 months refining and testing, investing hundreds of hours into the range.

What kind of Ingredient for our high fragrance candle?
For offering you the best-scented candle, we use the finest ingredients, natural soy wax, natural cotton wicks, and high-quality fragrance oil and I decided to put more fragrance in my candle so the scent stays in the room even when the candle is not lit.
